Every year the commemorative music festival Tyagaraja Aradhana is held at Thiruvaiyaru in Tyagaraja's honour. This is a week-long festival of music where various Carnatic musicians from all over the world get together with their veenas, violins, flutes, nagasvarams, mridangams and ghatams.

After catching up, all three musicians quickly realized they were available to perform on the same day as India's Republic Day, at 7.30pm for an hour at Arka. Mystical Meetings' concert began with Iraqi Oud virtuoso and singer, Anwar Abudragh, who quickly created a soothing ambience of subtle melodies transferring a packed audience to the Middle East and gently bringing us back.

Marc as an excellent pianist, composer, writer and a poet , knonw also by his nomadic traveling with his piano on missions called Cravana of Love shared with us... lots of Love... melodies interwoven with unusual exploration of the instrument, extending experiences we got on piano to play stories, lullaby, natural sounds, pieces of historical memories of distant places. | | Tuesday, 03 January 2012 | One day before the cyclone Thane, on the 29th of December 2011, the Italian musicians Ludovica and Paolo offered a music workshop in the Life Education Centre of Auroville, teaching Tamil girls how to express themselves through sound and rhythm.
During this rainy morning the LEC girls enjoy the flavour of gypsy music performed by Ludovica and Paolo, sang African songs of joy, learned to play different instruments, to make sound with their own bodies, while dancing and laughing with the diversity of activities developed during the workshop.

The intimacy of the room in Pitanga as well as the duet with Taranti combined to make the event one of the kind.
