This week we are broadcasting the recording of the water management information meeting “Proposed policies for water supply and waste water management” by the Water Task Force of l’Avenir d’Auroville.
Auroville must face, like all the rest of the world, the emerging and actual problems of water supply and its infrastructure. A team of specialists from Auroville has worked on this subject and presents its general, as well as its practical aspects. An overview on basic problems of water economy, such as salinisation, groundwater exhaustion and lack of infrastructure is presented, followed by an attempt to shape suitable solutions for the situation in Auroville. This is the first publication
of the results of the research of the water team.
